“We didn't want to leave!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2013

We had such an amazing time we didn't want to leave! Spring for a river room if you can. They upgraded us for no extra cost but I have a feeling we got very lucky. They have a little kitchen so you are able to cook there and save a little money on food. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are complete with everything including tons of storage for all the stuff us girls bring with us. The staff was very helpful and had lots of resources for us. Also onsite laundry was a huge plus. You have to see this place for yourself, don't miss it!

Rooms are large, spacious and comfortable with wood floors and modern but soothing decor and colors. There's a fridge, microwave and dishes along with a coffee maker (appreciated the Starbucks coffee in the room!). We go in winter and fall to visit the park and this hotel is perfect as it's a 2-3 minutes drive to the park. The staff are always helpful and very friendly and the standard of cleanliness is excellent. We like the river view rooms with patio which are quiet and secluded. The river view rooms give a great view of the mountains and even when it's cold, you can raise the blinds for full length window view, another very nice touch. Overall very relaxing good quality hotel.

Room Tip: River rooms are more secluded, poolside rooms tend to attract more families but honestly, any room h...

We have been coming to Springdale Utah for well over 10 years and Desert Pearl Inn is always a perfect stay for us and our number 1 choice of a hotel in this town. You cannot go wrong with rooms on this property. If you wanting to stay here, book your reservation far in advance. For summer time reservations I always book about 7 to 8 months ahead of time, sometimes a full year in advance.

Room Tip: Handicap rooms that have 2 Queen beds are next to the staircases so you get foot traffic noise. All...

This hotel was definitely a gem in the area. The rooms were spacious and rather luxurious, especially for the price you pay. The location was literally a two minute drive from the entrance of the park. And the staff was pleasant and courteous. I have one rather minor gripe. The room wasn't swept that well. After a day of hiking in the mud, you inevitably track some dirt back into the room. The maid service did a decent job with cleaning the room but I still felt grains of dirt on my bare feet.

Room Tip: If you want to use the hot tub in the middle of winter, I suggest getting a room near the pool. That...

Really great rooms here -- has a modern, stylish Palm Springs vibe that we really liked. Only stayed one night which was a shame! Would have stayed longer and enjoyed the town too if we had time. But as it was, the room and the view were just perfect. The room amenities couldn't have been better, especially considering the price. Good value. This was perhaps the best place we stayed during our tour of SW Utah. Would return! My only caution: at night the streetlights are not always on, so watch out for ditches when you walk around Springdale. We learned the hard way!

We came to Zion to hike during the holidays. Never having stayed at the Desert Pearl, we relied upon other Trip Advisor reviews. We must say were were very pleased.

Our room was large and clean, nicely decorated, had a mini kitchen complete with mini-refrigerator, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and dining amenities such as plates and utensils. The bed was very comfortable.

The location was perfect, right along side the river with a beautiful view and very close to the entrance to Zion.

The staff and other customers were very friendly and we met some great people in the spa and learned about their experiences after hiking for the day.

A couple of downsides....the wireless internet was intermittent and pretty much unusable. Not a huge deal, but a tad frustrating when I had to get a small work project out before my day began and it took three times as long to complete. Secondly, if you have a first floor room, expect to hear your upstairs neighbors walking across the floors.

Would definitely visit again!!

Room Tip: Get a second level floor near the river. They will likely be quieter and have a beautiful view outs...

The Desert Pearl Inn in Springdale, Utah, right at the gateway to Zion Naitonal Park, exceeded all our expectations! From the check-in staff to the maintenance man who responded immediately to a request to replace a nighttable lamp, all the employees were helpful and very friendly and professional. The room itself, a huge, premium riverside room, was absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful terrace leading down to a grassy riverside bank. We originally booked for just the one night of New Year's Eve, but couldn't bring ourselves to leave that soon---so we stayed another night, and hiked a couple of the trails. All the staff were helpful with restaurant and park recommendations--can't wait to stay here again in the spring! Refrigerator, coffeemaker, and microwave in room were great! Would have been nice to have a fireplace, but oh well! Bed extremely comfortable.

Room Tip: Ask for premium riverside room--worth the few extra bucks!
