“Great rooms, great views!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2012

This was our first stop on a four week trip to the southwest and we found ourselves comparing all of the other places we stayed with the DPI. What a find! The information handouts that are given out at registration answer just about all the questions that you may have about the area. Maps, restaurants, shuttle schedules, etc. Very well organized. The rooms are spacious and have everything you'll need to enjoy your stay--wine glasses, dishes, dishwasher, coffeemaker. We loved coming back from a long day of hiking to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio overlooking the pool and mountains. The laundry room is a bonus!
Loved it!

Room Tip: We had a view of the pool and mountains. Would try and get a river room view next time.

This is a beautiful hotel. Our room was wonderful. Beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. We had two queen beds, plus a sitting area. The room was well appointed with comfortable beds, a kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker (with Starbucks coffee and creamer) and dishes. It was wonderful for making breakfast in our room. The grounds are also very nice. The staff was very friendly and well informed about Zion park and the Springdale area. We stayed two nights and would defiantly stay here again and wish we could have stayed longer. Very convenient to the park. You can take the short drive to the visitor's center to catch the park shuttle or you can take the Springdate Shuttle, which stops right outside the hotel, to the visitors center and not have to deal with finding a parking spot.

Room Tip: They have rooms that overlook the pool area and also rooms with a view of the river. I would ask fo...

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the Desert Pearl Inn. It was the end of a 3 week honeymoon across the national parks of California and Utah.
We were very warmly welcomed by the front staff, explaining us the shuttle system of Zion NP and giving us a list of all the nearby restaurants.
We were given a very nice room at the second floor overlooking the pool. The room was just amazing! Clean and very big, but still very cosy. It felt actually like a room on some sort of tropical island! There was also a hand-written card and some flowers to congratulate us with our marriage. A very nice attention!
We spend some time at the pool and the jacuzzi and it was great. However, I felt like the jacuzzi was a little bit too hot, after a while I just had to go out because I was booiling. But we had the same experience in another hotel during our trip, so maybe it's an American thing? After all, it's called a 'HOT tub' :-)
We will definitely stay here again if we come back to visit Zion (great park btw!).

Room Tip: Any room is good I guess, but due to the wooden floors a room at the second level might be a little...

We spent 3 nights here while exploring the park. The location is fantastic, as it is near to the park and many restaurants. A car is really not necessary. The rooms facing the river are very pleasant. Rooms are roomy, with nice firm beds. Pool and hot tub adequate and welcoming after a day on the trails. Not cheap, but meets expectations.

Room Tip: River rooms are great.

Family trip to see "the canyons." We stayed here after reading wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor and were pleased! Lovely clean spacious and convenient. This was out "splurge" for the entire week - the costs were a bit higher - but we were not disappointed. Bus to Zion was just out the door, and good eating at Oscar's (and the laundromat) was a short walk away. Would do again :).

Room Tip: We did not specify a room in October, 2012 and had two with our patio facing the BEAUTIFUL expansive...

We stayed here for 2 nights. Loved this place, very comtemporary style. We had a first floor room facing the river. We loved being able to walk right out on the lawn and step into the river. We also had a nice patio for relaxing with our great view. This is a very peaceful and relaxing hotel. The hot tub was also nice, didn't get in the pool but it looked very nice and clean. We ate both mornings at Elements, the girl there made the best scones I have ever had outside of Canada. The staff was very nice and efficient, recommended restaurants, but we ate both nights at Oscars (the best hamburgers ever!). We never used the shutlle outside of the park, we drove to the visitor's center and took the shuttle from there, which ran often and was very fast. I can't say enough good things about this place. You won't be sorry if you choose to stay here.

Room Tip: Get the room along the river

We recently spent 2 nights at the Desert Pearl and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location along the Virgin River is spectacular. The Springdale shuttle to Zion stops right in front of the hotel, and is just a very short ride to the entrance to the Park.

Room Tip: We had a lower level, river side room (as opposed to a room facing the pool). Very peaceful.
