All tables are outside with incredible views of Zion Canyon. This restaurant is a converted gas station. The service was very good, prompt and friendly. We had excellent chicken enchiladas, and carne asada. The spaghetti squash enchilada was good. A small salad and black beans accompanied each entree. Come here if you want a relaxing environment with real decent food, and a fabulous location. Saw someone with the taco pizza, looked excellent. Dinner for 3 was $50.

Recently our Zion Adventure Company guide gave us a great recommendation for supper in Springdale. After an incredible day canyoneering with Bill Wusterhoff we went across the street to Whiptail. Sat outside with a beautiful view of the mountains. Bill had recommended the Chile Relleno and it was super. I got mine with some beef and it was beautiful and delicious. Bill also recommended Whiptail's version of creme brulee but they were sold out. We also loved the fresh gaucamole. The place was slammed and the wait staff was struggling but fine. I can be impatient. This is a cool local spot that probably most of us visitors drive right by thinking "I'm not eating in a renovated gas station" Their loss, don't be one of them! I'm going back to Springdale just to try the brulee!

You're eating at a gas station, which is novel, but when the novelty wears off you're eating at a gas station. The food isn't very filling, and it's only OK.
