“Expensive Supermarket”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2013

Sol makes whole foods seem like a bargain. Good products, high prices. You're in a tourist town. That being said, they have a good range of stuff, and you can only have so many hamburgers, right?

“Most expensive grocery store ever!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2013

They have the corner on the market as it is a little tourist town and nowhere else to shop.
Over $8 for a box of cereal.
We were the only ones in the store with a cart.
We spent $185 and felt sick to our stomach.
Usually shopping for a couple meals and snacks will save you money on vacation.
Eating out every meal might have been cheaper....
Shop in Hurricane before heading to Springdale!

“didn't eat here, but store was barely ok”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013

with the name so close to that other supermarket that is known for their organic produce and the zion location, i expected a nice market. it was not nice, and it stocked mainly canned foods for campers. the prices of things like energy bars and water were outrageous. it did not appear to have nice breads etc for sandwiches but in fairness i did not order anything.

“Over-priced but impressive selection”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013

If you need some fine French cheese and a baguette for your Zion adventure, this is the place to go. Prices seemed 25% higher than even high-priced NYC, but perhaps that's what it takes to bring in the Brie to such an isolated destination.

“Al's walnut and chocolate brownies”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2013

We just needed some groceries and were positively surprised about the lovely walnut brownies at the cashier...what a nice idea to sell them there. We took four...
Everything else was fresh and good, friendly people like everywhere in Springdale
