Lets be clear: there are no good restaurants in Springdale (yet). The rave reviews on Tripadvisor are probably written by the bulk of the crowd here: families with children, teenagers going out hiking and those seeking an alternative lifestyle in a nice rural spot. That's at least what all the eating places here cater to. Burgers, sanwiches, wraps and pizza make up 99.9% of the offering of the 'restaurants' here. Most of them are decent, but i have not found a really good one yet. And Oscar's didn't change my mind. Not that its bad, its not. Its actually quite a nice place, with a cool terrace to sip a cold beer and have a burger. But the cooking, despite trying hard, is messy and imprecise. Plates are a huge jumble of stuff. Service is too stoned to be effective. Prices are stiff, like everything here. So a decent place to go with friends, but just don't expect too much.
