Drove into Springdale late afternoon...started to suss out the local restaurant scene. Wanted a place for wine with our dinner...slipped into this busy place around 6:30 - packed with families, couples, gal pals, best buds...found a friendly host who ushered us to the bar area (per our request) where we sat and enjoyed efficient and friendly service, the 'BestMargarita', wide variety of Utah beers on tap and a full bar. Then we had the fish tacos special with a side of guacamole and chips: EXCELLENT! Would come back again and recommend hands down! Don't guess when you can dine at the BEST!

There's something to be said for a restaurant when you see an employee out in the garden gathering ingredients for the kitchen. This is a great place to eat if you are in the Zion National Park area--you can sit on the patio and have a beautiful view while you eat. Dishes have a southwest flair and we found everything to be tasty. The chips and guacamole appetizer was a little skimpy, but the homemade desserts were fantastic. I would definitely go to Bit and Spur again.

We visited the Bit and Spur for dinner, after seeing Zion. We had a lovely meal here — I had homemade guacamole, veggie burrito — both delicious. Others in my party had the Sweet Potato Tamales, which they said were very yummy.

The Bit is consistently awesome in both food and service. I've never had a poor experience there, and I've been frequenting it since the 90's. If you have a chance to visit the Bit, DO IT, you won't be sorry!
