“One of the best in Springdale”
Reviewed November 15, 2013

Stopped in for dinner after a day of hiking. Sat in the bar area. Very good service, food, beer, chips and salsa. The other place in Springdale to go to is Cafe Oscar.

The Bit has a nice view of mountains right across the street. We sat by the window for a nice view.

They have their own hot sauce which is very good, too.

“Excellent food with ambiance”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

The menu offers creative southwest fare without being over the top. I had a mushroom marsala soup which was tasty. Too bad they were out of the sweet potato pork tamales. The dining room was cozy and decorated with local artwork. We had to wait 25 minutes for a party of 10 to be seated on a Saturday night, but did find good service once we were seated.

“Yum! Great Food!”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

This was directly across from our hotel-The Best Western-and it was recommended to us so we gave it a try. The first night we had the special-fish tacos. They were excellent! And then we had this lemon coconut torte with fresh strawberries that was to die for! YUM! So the next night we went back. That time we split the Cowboy Ribeye. I think it is about the best steak I have ever eaten! Tender. Flavorful. On My Goodness. And because we had the torte before and loved it--we had it again. Can't go wrong eating here!

“Tex Mex, different and oh so good”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

This little restaurant has been in Springdale for many years, and boy do they have it right. We have a vacation home about an hour away and visit Zion often. Being a gateway town Springdale has a lot of restaurants and this little place is our favorite. It has a lovely porch overlooking a park-like lawn with big shade trees. For cool evenings, they have heaters on the porch. The restaurant has a bar section (the kids from So Utah University call it the spit and slur LOL), and two indoor eating areas - the back room being the nicest. I have NEVER had any menu item that is not outstanding. The sweet potato pork tamale doesn't sound like a great combo, but try it. Amazing! Chicken relleno, wonderful blend of flavors. Even the d'rigor refried black bean side is memorable. All servings are plenty big. We always have leftovers. And the desserts, oh so good.

“Kyle was great!”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

I 'm not sure if our bartender, Kyle, is the owner or employee of Bit & Spur, but he made us newbies to the Zion area, feel so welcome. Just as he did everyone we saw come in after us, old friends and new. What a great guy! We just wanted a couple of drinks to mellow out after a very long drive from Idaho. We will definitely be back to Zion and have a meal at Bit & Spur upon our return!
