Arrived post-sunset on a Saturday night in the offseason; 2 large tables of 12 had just been seated, so it was a bit of a wait. (We didn't have a reservation.) Ended up on the patio, but NOT underneath a heater, so it was fine at first, but got COLD as the sun sent down

This place was across the street from our hotel, so it was convenient. Funky place...eat outside if you can! Had a fabulous Greek salad one night with local Heirloom tomatoes that we're to die for! The next night I had a taco....wrong choice. Dry and boring, but the rice and beans were different and very good. Has a full bar and tv on oE side, so it draws a crowd.

Everything we had was great! Really rustic, nice environment too.
Great enchiladas, green chili verde and guacamole.

Packed house on Thursday night and we had to sit outside on the porch. This seemed like a concession at first, but proved to be good -- it was far less noisy and with an overhead heater we were comfortable despite the chilly night.

Sweet potato jalapeño soup was great as were chips and salsa. I had pork sweet potato tamales and was pleased with them although the serving was a bit small -- filling but not overly so. My husband had the enchiladas and enjoyed his meal. Good flavor all around.

Service was quick and friendly. We have eaten here a few times over the years and would be happy to return.

We had a mixed experience at the bit and spur, great location and great outdoor space to watch the sunset I the mountains

However service was very slow and the food was a mixed bag..not really to our taste

Better go to Oscars
