The location is at the end of town, but it wasn't a problem since the bus leaves from across the street. We got to the park early enough that we got a parking spot at the visitor Center. The rooms are nicely decorated, and comfortable. The view was great from the balcony too.

Went to ZION Nat'l Park for the first time. Booked room at this lodge and WOW! Very clean, everything worked, great service, accommodations were great and the decor made you feel like you were on an adventure. Very relaxing. ZION shuttle just outside the lodge. Short ride to the park. Easy ride up and down the road to see all the gift shops, art galleries, and restaurants. Best pasta was the Seafood Pasta in the lodge at Arkansas Al's Steakhouse. The servers were top notch and all meals were excellent. Very friendly. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. I will always stay here in future trips. Beautiful lodge design throughout.

Room Tip: Their website states that there are no elevators so those who cannot climb stairs or are wheelchair...

I knew there was going to be some issues when the check in clerk advised me that our room was in the unit ''across the road" and hastened to add that it was their most requested room. The room was clean except for the lone cockroach in the closet. The furnishings appropriately rustic and western. The views were great but of course the whole area is one giant majestic view. My complaint was the construction and maybe this doesn't apply to the other older units in the main complex. The horizontal and vertical sound transmission was annoying to say the least. We were in a first floor unit and every footstep above carried into our room and the people above us were not inappropriately noisy. We were able to hear the people in the room next to us talking on their phone and with each other. The other thing was the faucet in the bathtub. It took two hands to move it the whole time expecting it to break off because of the movement.
Generally, I cut hotels some slack but I think this time I was a little peeved about being put in the domitory across the street. By the way, this hotel is not right at the entrance to the park. In fact, it is at the remote end of the city shuttle that runs to the park itself.

Room Tip: If you have to stay across the street, stay on the second floor and get the corner room at the west...

Stayed here on March 26th and 27th of 2013. Paid $150 per night including taxes. Room 123 offered great views of the peaks and road construction on the main drag though the room was so well-soundproofed sleeping was not a problem. Comfortable beds and nicely appointed decorations. Small (7x5) box-type balcony with Eastern view. Only one person on desk duty when I checked in. No help available with toting luggage up to the second floor. Are bell hops on the endangered species list?

Old CRT TV with no premium channels. Wireless signal is extremely weak and keeps cutting in and out so there is little hope of getting any work done. Room comes with frig and coffee maker. All of the room's furnishings look to be constructed of logs, parts of logs or twigs. Wall art consists of 'Bear' motifs. Small table with 2 chairs. 2 chairs on balcony. Restaurant available in the main building. Lots of stuffed animals decorate the lobby. Lousy water pressure in shower.

I thought $150 a night was a bit steep given the accommodations and that is why I gave the hotel a 3 star rating.

Room Tip: Get something in the front building otherwise you'll be staring at parked cars and other people...

I have already planned a return visit. From the staff, the pool, the room and the amazing breakfast buffet you just can't go wrong! Location is at the start of Zion National Park and the views out every window are breathtaking!

We stayed at the Majestic View Lodge last week while visiting Zion! Loved the cozy rooms with the lodgepole furniture. The bed was so comfortable, free internet, and a fridge in the room! I was happy! We loved the balcony off our room. We spent time relaxing out there with a cocktail and a set of binoculars! We also enjoyed the hot tub under the wide star filled Western sky. It felt great to soak our bones after all of the hiking we did in Zion!

What an undiscovered gem, just on the west entrance to the park.

Rooms were lovely, old type timber beds, laser cut copper lamps etc and excellent views from all rooms.

Steak resturant on property was overpriced for the quality and the selection was some what limited but the rooms were the main attraction.
