I was kinda worried when I had read one of the reviews on here about roaches in the rooms etc. but it turned out to be a really, nice and clean little hotel. I had forgotten it was Labor Day weekend and was lucky to get the last room available! The hot breakfasts included with the rooms were a plus! The manager running the breakfast room was very very cool! The hotel is very close to the shuttle stop, campgrounds etc. Loved the little on site market and the desk clerks were friendly ;) I would totally come back again.
Thanks for really nice experience and no little 'friends' in the rooms hehe.

We found this hotel to be quiet, clean, with attractive decor, and an excellent location. Attached grocery was a plus, and the free, HOT breakfast was outstanding! We had scrambled eggs every day with sausage or bacon, waffles, french toast, biscuits & gravy toast, etc. Our compliments to the chef!

Stayed here September 2008 and was completely satisfied. Even though it's outside the Zion Park boundaries, the views are simply gorgeous. A short walk behind the motel is the Virgin River itself. The staff were very courteous and the place was kept clean, but I think the motel's greatest asset or amenity is the delicious breakfast. Waffles were cooked to order to go along with other "real breakfast" foods. Springdale itself is a charming little community which offers complimentary shuttle bus service into Zion NP. While it may cost a bit extra to be at Zion's front door, it's worth it not to have to drive any further for accommodations.

Went to Zion Nat'l Park over the labor day weekend as part of a HOG chapter ride . This inn was about a 1/4 of a mile from the park entrance. Service to the park and town via the free shuttle was approximately 100 feet from the front entrance of the inn. Rooms were neat and clean. Breakfast was better than most Quality inn breakfasts. The Inn has an RV park right behind it, but there were absolutley no disturbances from the RV park or it's patrons. Inn also has a small store which pretty much caters to the needs of the campers but you can find things that you need and might want at the store. without going into town.

This accomodation was booked for us by a AAA agent in Las Vegas, Nevada. My husband and I were driving from Las Vegas to Zion National Park and the AAA agent advised us to find a place to stay overnight close by. We were in the area on Labor Day week end, without a reservation so we really did not have lots of choices. This hotel was available, advertised the amenities we requested, so we booked. Upon arrival at 9:00 pm, the front desk was closing up for the evening. We were able to check into our room before the desk clerk left. After getting into our room, we learned there was no ice available; the internet service advertised was not available. The room was adequate and was clean. Early the next morning, the breakfast was just okay, certainly nothing to brag about. It took my husband three trips to the front desk before he was sucessfully connected to the internet. Upon further exploration of the hotel grounds, we learned that this hotel really caters more to hikers, RVer's, than to regular land visitors. The shuttle service to Zion Park is just right next to this hotel and they were kind enough to let us leave our car here for most of the next day, without charge.

If you are planning a trip to Zion National Park, I would recommend that you book a room in the Park. Most National Parks are full of history and while not very luxurious, they are normally clean and provide basic necessities.

This hotel is a great place to stay if visiting Zion Park. It was literally right next door. The rooms were a bit small, but clean. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great, I really appreciated the service and food. The pool was a bit small and the Internet service is nonexistent. The hotel also basically shuts down at 10pm and there was no access to soda machines, ice, etc. Overall, we had a great time.

While this hotel is conveniently located and the rooms were quite nice, visitors should beware of cockroaches that are, according to the staff, "part of the environment". When we reported seeing 3 cockroaches the elderly lady at the front desk was rude and sarcastic about it - first by feigning surprise and then asking us why we didnt bring it and show it to them at the time we found it. When we looked at her in disgust she realised her mistake and admitted that there was indeed a roach problem but said that the room had been sprayed so there was nothing else that they could do about it. Then as a parting shot - seeing that we were from Texas - asked us again sarcastically "Doesnt Texas have roaches". So much for customer service and ruining visitors vacations.
