“natures way of being spectacular”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2012

when the water is flowing the falls are spectacular and easy to get to when you can park up. A nice short walk through the trees and over some bridges. a great view and well worth the visit.

“Great place for little effort”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012 via mobile

Some of the hikes in Yosemite are very tuff, but this is a great sight with minimal effort. It's a small walk tithe base and the view is plenty worth the walk. The falls weren't really falling when we came because little waterfalls are going around those times of the year but that hardly took away from how impressive it was. A definite must see in Yosemite.

“do not come in September”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2012

in September, the falls dry out. Yosemite falls is totally dry, and bride's veil is as thin as a thread

“No water flowing, but still beautiful.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2012

We only walked to the first bridge. As we were there in the summer the waterfall was not flowing, but it is still magnificient. The walk is only 10 minutes from the Lodge and well worth the stroll.

“Dry as a bone”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2012

Well, when you go in September, you know these falls will be dry. They were, but it's still an incredibly impressive series of rock faces. We saw a couple of men as they were completing a descent. Not something I'd try.

The trail is lovely, and even without much water, it's a very neat experience. We were there early on a Saturday morning and surprisingly there was no one there but us and a few deer. As we were finishing a bus load of eager German tourists was just arriving. Hope they didn't expect water...
