This was a really good walk through pretty woods to the amazing views at Taft Point. When we got there, we found a group of slack liners preparing ropes over the insanely high gorge/valley and enjoyed watching them bounce and jump along the ropes - quite mad but they were tied on at least. The views are amazing up there, but so high and steep - we read that a couple sadly fell taking selfies and it's easy to see how this could happen. But well worth the walk - stunning views. Felt further than the advertised 1 or 1.5miles or whatever it said from the car park.

Fairly moderate hike to Taft Point with a spectacular canyon view waiting for you at the end. Don't forget to bring water.

This is an easy hike through the woods with a great reward. There is only a railing between standing on the edge and a several thousand foot drop off the cliff and into the valley below. The views are spectacular and worth the short, easy, flat walk. Those who get nervous with heights, will want to avoid getting near the edge, but the great views are still available.

You can lie down and look over the edge. Hiked here from Glacier Point - bring 2 liters of water. Lots of beautiful views.
