This is a beautiful hike. You go through a tree area with moss and creeks (during the spring/summer) and end up at a breathe taking view.
Hiking to the point is downhill. So what goes down, must come up! The hike is moderate and well worth the effort to get there.
At the point itself, the valley floor is 3000 feet below. Thank goodness there is a metal railing there! You get a different perspective of the west end of the valley from here. A beautiful view of Yosemite Falls and the valley below. Of course, the fissures are here as well.
