“Beautiful Drive but chiilly!”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

The rest of Yosemite is quite boring for us since we are "sightseers" and not "doers" so this is not the national park for us. If you're hikers, swimmers, picnickers etc, then this is a great park. That being said, this is a very scenic and wonderful drive. The lakes are beautiful. Got very chilly the higher in elevation we went so make sure you have sweatshirts! Watch out for deer, one almost ran into the back of our car.

Stopped at the sequoia grove and it was worth the hike. Loved our picnic at Yosemite Creek. Olmsted Point AMAZING. Tenaya Lake a great respite and beautiful.

“Goat least every five years”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

?although we visit the Valley yearly, we only occasionally take the extra trip across Tiga .road through Tuolomne Meadows down to Mono Lake. I do not know a more beautiful 40(?) miles anywhere and we vowed to take the extra several, hours of driving at least every 5 years from now on.

“Great Views And An Easy Road To Drive”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

You are in the park so the speed limit is low and the road is wide with plenty of pullouts. We started out early in the morning in Lee Vinning and had the road pretty much to ourselves for the first hour. Great views, safe and easy road to drive on and a great section of the park not to be missed.

“nice roadtrip”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

It's very pretty, but very crowded. Depending on where you are going, if too busy, Sonora Pass is a nice alternative, equally beautiful, and much less travelled.
