If you are looking for stunning views that do not require a hike, Glacier Point is for you. It's a bit of a drive to this part of the park (and lots of elevation gain), but it's worth it for the view. This is perfect for folks that aren't super mobile or don't like to hike; they can get the great views without the effort.
My personal feeling is that the views are vastly better from the top of Sentinel Dome and also from the top of Nevada Falls, but those require some hiking and climbing stairs, so if you're not up for those, this is your place! Heck, even if you've done this and would like a slightly different perspective or some easy access to the views, stopping at Glacier Point is well worth it! We did those other hikes and then did this. We still greatly enjoyed it!
