I could take pictures and relax at the falls all the time. The views only emphasize God's amazing work. My family loves the outdoors and nature. I could sing the praises about the whole park, but the falls are particularly beautiful.

We were there in October and the falls were but a wisp. However, it was a short walk to see them, and really everything in Yosemite is beautiful and breathtaking, so I can almost guarantee you won't regret the quick sight.

One must stop and observe the fall. It's a great view when the wind blows the water making it look like a bridal veil. Don't forget to see it from the Tunnel View stop

This is a favorite of mine over the years. Shady and cooling in the summer, still awesome in winter.

Our most recent visit, however, was treacherously slippery. Most people gave up and went through the rocks on either side of the path. Surprisingly, the path was not sprinkled with sand as most other trails were.

My husband really likes to find a rock that is under the mist from the falls and watch from that aspect. Myself --- I like to climb along the rocks in the creek at the base of the falls and see the myriad reflections. Best viewed in May or June when the falls are full; by September these falls can almost disappear.
