This is a beautiful hotel and extremely well located.
Room was comfortable and clean and filled our needs.
The lobby and main area is spectacular and is an experience in itself.
Our room faced the parking lot, but that was fine as the whole point was to be outside enjoying the park. Be sure to hike the geyser area - memories will last a lifetime.

We hope to return again soon.

the lobby is spectacular!!. the corridors too are very well done.
the room i stayed was on the 4th level (0=below ground; 1=ground) with a room facing geysers. the rooms are average with a decent and clean bathroom.
i ate dinner in the dining room which was busy. the service was good with the food being decent.
plenty of parking close by.

We were coming from Jackson on our way home; had spent a few days in Yellowstone the week before and didn't get to see everything we wanted. I was lucky to find a reservation at OFI on the online booking system one night before we arrived. It was a great experience to stay here for a night. The room itself was clean, but the bathroom floor needed some attention. The rest of the bathroom was fine - great clean tub and shower, good sized room. Bedroom lighting was terrible tho. Only one small lamp.

Got up early the next morning and walked around Geyser Loop. It was fantastic. But had to be very careful, the plastic boardwalk was very, very frosty and slippery.

The lobby is beautiful and the bar area is great for a beer and some food. We did eat in the dining room - terrible experience. Service was awful.

I was glad we were able to spend a night here.

We stayed at the Inn for 3 days. At the last day we took the free tour of the Inn, and it was GREAT! We learned so much about the history of this historic building, and enjoyed the many interesting facts and stories the tour guide shared with us. It was well worth the 45 minutes.

Just like clockwork, Old Faithful started to erupt at 12:39 pm the other day just like they promised it would. We had sandwiches at the lodge waiting for the geyser to erupt. It steams and there is a little water....then it shoots up high for a while....spectacular. It keeps going for several minutes. A must see in Yellowstone.
