Excellent bison burgers. Dining room was a little hot and noisy, but the service was excellent. Given that we were dealing with a park service vendor, we didn't expect much, so were actually pleasantly surprised.

The food here was much better than I expected. It is very expensive--but so is everywhere else you can eat in the park. The choices are limited, but all three of us enjoyed our entrees and the service was good. We had dessert at the ice cream snack bar for about half what it cost at the restaurant. This is not gourmet food, just gourmet prices. We did witness an extremely touching moment while we were eating here. An elderly couple was seated next to us and the man was wearing a WWII veteran's cap. Someone in the dining room paid for the couple's meal and it was great to witness the look on their faces when the waiter told the couple that their bill had been paid by someone who wanted to thank him for his service to the country. This certainly made our meals more memorable.

Menu choices are limited. I have a food allergy and choices were very few. Service was terrible. It was as if we didn't exist. Took us 15 min to track him down to get our check. The food itself was OK. Really not worth the price being charged, but inside the part the choices are limited.

Nice ambiance and a the food was good. My only complaint was size portions. My bison short ribs were smaller than the ones that was served at the table next to me. Other than that everything was good. Something that bothered me was that an employee was seating on a table next to us and he was loud and having conversations that I would never have in front of a guest (complaining about his job and the visitors).

While staying in Old Faithful Inn, we ate twice at this dining room. WAY over priced. Brochure said family friendly but they tried to pretend they were swanky place. Choices were not family friendly nor were the prices! In fact it cost almost as much as a 'reasonable' meal at the Old Faithful Dining Room where we also ate twice. Obviously everyone staying in the Park is captive to lack-of or few dining places.
