Expectations are low at a National Park, so our group anticipated traditional fare. The menu aims for exotic items and neither the food nor the service were impressive. Our server was disinterested at best & forgot to bring beverages & side dishes. Suggest you order the light fare at the Snow Lodge Lounge.

We had dinner here one night right at opening. We shared the Rotisserie Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. We also shared the Yellowstone Sundae. All the food was good and the portion was large enough for us to share. The Yellowstone Sundae was yummy with huckleberry ice cream. Service was very good - fast and friendly.

We ate dinner one night during a stay at the Snow Lodge. Our server was not very good: he was practically surly for some unknown reason, ignored such niceties as daily specials, upcharged my spouse's drink and basically ignored us. My entree - lingine with peanut sauce - was not successful. The sauce was flavorless except for a heavy hand with red pepper and was so greasy it left an oil slick. My house salad was much better but the dressing was disappointing. Unfortunately, you have to eat somewhere, so there is little incentive for improvement.

My husband and I ate here 3 times while recently on vacation in Yellowstone. We found the service to be good as well as each of the meals that were served. The Bison Short Ribs with Mashed Potatoes were excellent. Also, I would recommend the bison, pheasant and boar sausage appetizer; absolutely delicious. Breakfast service was good, served timely and tasty. We also enjoyed the atmosphere of the dining room and more quiet nature compared to many of the other Lodges we dined at.
