If you cannot handle the hike down to the brink of the Lower Falls, this is a much easier option. Beautiful / not as spectacular as the Lower Falls, but still a nice stop. Walk from parking lot is about 5 minutes.

I highly recommend taking the time to see these falls! There is much less foot traffic to these falls. The overlook is a gorgeous view and photo op. The are a beautiful sight.

It's all part of a less known part of Yellowstone and less traveled than the western geyser area, called the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, with south and north rim just as the original one. The upper falls can be seen very close from both sides, but if you want to walk down to the closest point you can do that from the "brink of the upper falls" point, after a short but steep walk.
The view of gushing water is amazing and the overall view is really a combination between the Grand Canyon, Crater Lake and Yosemite all together. Read the rest of my review about the area in the "Grand Canyon of Yellowstone" page.

While not as high or beautiful as the Lower Falls, these falls are easily accessed with a great view. There also is a nice path you can follow along the river for a little ways as well.

The sheer amazement of the force of nature is evident in the falls at Yellowstone. The viewing area can get a little crowded, but well worth the easy climb to see.
