We stayed at Grant Village, Yellowstone, which is very isolated, from any township. We were on a bus tour, a lot of the bus people were booked into the main restaurant. We decided to eat at The Lakehouse restaurant, we thought everything would be dear, because tourists had nowhere else to eat, but we were wrong, it was a great value meal, with a million dollar view across the lake and the friendliest staff you could ever meet.
The restaurant does not take bookings, so be early, we arrived at 7:30pm and had a 10 minute wait, others arrived 7:30pm > 8:00pm, had an hour wait.
