There are many natural wonders in Yellowstone and this is one of the finest. To see the pictures or hear/read descriptions simply can not give the sense of the stunning experience to be had just standing in the observation decks. I didn't hike, but could not have been more impressed.

Very impressive natural creation, or maybe not natural, but definitely huge. Didn’t fly in a helicopter, but should be quite a ride.

My favorite area in the park to hike. Do both sides and get out and hike! Walk down to the up close viewing areas for the waterfalls; they are so much better than the viewpoints off the road.

If you only see one thing in Yellowstone this is the one. To say the view is breathtaking doesn’t do justice to the stunning views here. You will take countless pictures and not know what to edit. Trust me. The only downside to our visit was a large group of foreign tourists who dominated the area by cutting in front of others to take their photographs. Frustrating but do not be deterred. You will still be able take in the beauty of the park. You will spend a minimum of 30-45 minutes enjoying the view. Enjoy.

Be sure to stop at Inspiration Point--the area has been redone and you get beautiful views and fewer people than Artist Point
