Some of the most vibrant colors ever seen in my life. Waterfalls were spectacular. We walked down the stairs to see the falls up close, highly recommend this and hiking along the rim.

Drove down to the Yellowstone Grand Canyon and thought it was the most beautiful site ever! It's a one way loop drive on each side of the canyon and there are parking lots that you can stop in to take pictures. Nice little trails to different areas. You have to see this if you're in Yellowstone.

After 4 days of hiking, we just weren't up for another long hike, but a ranger recommended taking the drive out the South Rim to Artist's Point. It's a very short paved walk out to a beautiful view of the canyon and the falls. We got wonderful pictures ... while I'm sure the sights at the bottom of the falls are great, this was surely a worthwhile alternative.

We walked both sides of the trail, the North and South rim trails (on separate days). Both trails are worth doing, and there are not that many people on the trails, most seem to drive to all of the scenic points. It is worth the hike to Uncle Tom's cabin and the brink of the lower falls, but both are quite physically demanding.

This place was unreal. There are multiple viewpoints of the falls and the canyon. The scenery is outstanding, though be prepared for a bit of a hike. One trail in particular involves several switchbacks to get to the viewpoint. There are other spots that aren't nearly as strenuous, so it is still possible to get an excellent view without having to go too far from the vehicle.
