“Absolutely Stunning”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

This was one of our favorite scenes in the park. We got a great spot at the Artist Point viewing area to watch the sunset. The way the canyon walls change with the hue's of the sunlight is just amazing. I must have taken the same photo 50 times but it seemed to change a little each time due to the light. The view of the lower falls is fantastic and the viewing area is larger enough that it doesn't get overcrowded easily. Just beware of the biting flies and gnats in the summer, they are vicious and relentless so you will need bug spray.

“God's Own Country”

2nd time to this great park - A boyhood dream relived in person with my best fren, soul mate and wife.

Enjoyed every moment we were there.

Living in a refurbished container at West Yellowstone opposite Ernie's Cafe - the best morning breakfasts ever and within driving distance to the BEAR & WOLF Sanctuary.

Driving each day for hundreds of miles to view different aspects of this great park - all in a matter of day one can see - snow, arid dry land, burnt forests, endless meadows, geysers, hot springs , waterfalls, wild birds esp Ospreys nesting in the canyons ,animals galore & awesome sunsets.

The 1st time I was there was back in 2000 and it was less commercialized and less tourist but in 2010 , a decade later, the park had lots more ppl from all over the world & getting accommodation was tough and end up in West Yellowstone whereas the 1st time was in Mammoth Springs.

Seeing is believing....

“Fabulous Views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2013

This is a great example of the diversity at Yellowstone. This canyon may not be as large as some others, but it is incredible. The combination of the river, the falls, the rock and the greenery is simply beautiful. There are too many vantage points and views to name, but every angle is unique. Spend as much time here as you can, it will be worth it.
