“Photographer's paradise”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

There are lots of photogenic areas in Yellowstone National Park and this is no exception. There are lots of geothermal pools with fantastic colours and edges that draw one's attention. In winter this is a fantastic place.

“Lots to see here”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

Midway basin has a lot of things to see in a small area. The boardwalk takes you through some of the largest and most active springs in Yellowstone. The colors are amazing, and the smell of sulphur is strong. Don't pass this one by.

“If You Only See One Basin, See This One!”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

This basin is outstanding! Hands down, the most impressive area of the whole park. Be prepared that most people photoshop their pictures if the Grand Prismatic Spring to level that is unnatural. So go with no preset expectations, and prepare to be amazed by this Basin. It is only 0.5 miles, and stroller friendly. The walk isn't long, but allow yourself time to soak in the beauty of this basin. Just about every pool here is impressive and worth stopping at for a while.

“Wow”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

Take the boardwalks around this scenic area. We saw elk laying right beside the boardwalks, and all kinds of very cool thermal pools.
