We stayed here as part of a package tour, so all arrangements had been made in advance. The rooms were super clean, large and comfortable. Only a short walk to the dining hall, information center and the lake. Very accessible.

Our complaint applies to all Yellowstone properties. As is common in upper scale accomadations everywhere, free wifi is not provided. The managers have "for your convenience" provided wifi service for an extra hourly, daily or multiple day fee. But with all the other amenities already included in the package, why is wifi always an extra?

Room is environmentally sound with receptacles for recycling everything.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Make your reservations early in the season.

Nice clean room. About the size of a college dorm room. Two comfortable beds and private bath. Daily maid service. No TV, fridge, or microwave. Quiet pleasant atmosphere. If you plan to visit Yellowstone National Park, it is worth it to stay in the park if you can. Driving in and out of the park from outside every day eats up a lot of valuable time and gas. Local post offices, general stores, and restaurants are located through out the park. Friendly staff.

Room Tip: Make reservations several months in advance if you can. Most of the lodges are only open during the summer months and can fill up fast.

I wanted to stay a couple of nights in Yellowstone National Park. We chose Grant Village since it was central to Yellowstone Lake and the Old Faithful area. We knew up front that these were basic, rustic rooms and so our expectations were low. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and comfortable. There is no A/C, TV, or other noise makers (except the creaking of floors or people talking), so the silence was deafening. It was a nice change from the other places we stayed on trip. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: There are no elevators, so stay on first floor if you are carrying a lot of luggage.

Expensive for what you get. The room was clean and comfortable, but smelled like sour milk. It felt like a location for a school camp, rather than a hotel. The rooms are all in blocks of apartments. I would only recommend staying there for its location in the national park.
We ate at the Lake House and we were so surprised by how nice it was. We were actually served vegetables and salad - amazing!

Below average accommodations. The building structure and the furniture is old and tired, if it were not in the park we would not stay here, at any price. Do not recommend. Had dinner at the cafeteria on the Lake and the food was poor and view was wasted as the windows were filthy and the decor outdated.
