My wife and I stayed 4 nights at the Fishing Bridge Camp Ground. It was a little tight and the TV, Radio and Phone reception was non-existent. Take a satellite dish if you are a TV junky. Having said that, I really didn't miss it that much. We had so many things to see and not enough time to see them. Wild life abound, fantastic scenery, and wonderful fishing. Although the fishing rules were confusing at first, I figured them out with help from the rangers. We had a wonderful time. Just make sure you bring all that you need with you. Yes, there are stores but don’t expect to stock up on supplies from there. Prices are a bit high. Just remember why you are there. Relax and have a good time.

Fishing Bridge RV Park provides a great central location to all of Yellowstone. Although it gives one the impression of being packed in like a can of sardines, it is the only campground inside Yellowstone that has water and sewer hookups. It doesn't really matter, though, because you're usually only in the campground long enough to sleep and maybe eat, then it's back out on the road or trails to see the many beautiful sites of Yellowstone. The other amenities at Fishing Bridge are nice, i.e. showers, laundry, grocery store, and gift shop. If you haven't been to Yellowstone, you're missing out on one of the greatest experiences of your life!

Fishing Bridge RV Park is the only camp ground in Yellowstone that has full hook-ups for RV's. It is not a luxury RV resort, but is in a beautiful setting, near where the Yellowstone River goes into Yellowstone Lake, and is fully forested. The campground has a small store, laundry and is close to a Fishing Bridge store, gas station, cafe and museum. Staffed by mostly retired RVer's, they are friendly, helpful and we have stayed there 6 times in the past 10 years, enjoying every stay. Our kids loved it and now that they are gone, we love it alone.

Fishing Bridge RV park is pretty dismal, but it does pack a lot of vehicles into a very small area, reducing the overall population pollution. Vehicles are parked ten to fifteen feet apart, and campers are subjected to the various noises, fumes, and other disturbances found in a tightly packed space. But, it does have water, electricity and sewer, and most people ... me included ... don't spend a lot of time sitting around in the campground. Did I enjoy the campground? No.
Would I go back? It's not that bad, and it does have the amenities I mentioned. It's expensive, though, for what you get. In retrospect, I think I would chose another, less crowded, and perhaps less developed campground, but I'm not such a thing exists today in Yellowstone.
