“Pretty blues”
Reviewed August 19, 2014

Very pretty blue colors. Looks like your looking into an ocean in the Mediterranean. Good stop on the way to Old Faithful from West Yellowstone.

“Nice boardwalk and beautiful blue pools”
Reviewed August 13, 2014

The Sapphire Pool is here, and it is gorgeous! You can also take the Mystic Falls Trail Hike (there are ranger led options, so check the park website for this) from the boardwalk. it is an easy 1.2 mi hike to the falls. Can't beat beautiful thermal pools/geysers and then a waterfall at the end of a hike!

“Before You Decide You Are Tired Of Geysers, Pull A Picture Of Your Home City Out Of Your Pocket”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

Glance at it to get a good perspective, then take another look at this less flashy geyser basin. It's really an incredible landscape made by thousands of years of continuous pressure that is still boiling today. It's an astounding process that creates and maintains these geysers and the more you understand, the more incredible it is to see them first hand.

“Very interesting.”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

Worth stopping and seeing. You can hike out here from Old Faithful, and it is worth it to see the pools and geysers along the way. This area has some really unique features as well.

“Nice thermals often overlooked”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

I think these get passed up because they are so close to Old Faithful. There are some really nice hot pots here, worth the stop.
