“Deep, deep blue...”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

If you've started your Yellowstone experience from the north by now you're half way through and probably have seen some of the other geysers and thermal areas. This one has amazing deep blue colors and unique shapes or actually depths of the pools.

“Sapphire pool is stunning”
Reviewed June 21, 2014

I think Sapphire pool at the biscuit basin is the most colorful hot spring in the park. We got some really nice pictures. not very far from Old faithful. Don't miss this basin!!!

“Wow”
Reviewed June 7, 2014 via mobile

Enjoyed the ranger talk and hike to the outlook. Great in early June because second waterfall was still flowing. Great view all the way to Old Faithful.

“Best of all in my opinion”
Reviewed May 23, 2014 via mobile

When you see the first few spring and geyser in yellowstone, you wow, took photos and got super excited!!!! Then you see 10, 20, 30.... And you stared to wonder they are all similar.....we'll, this won't happen in this basin!

The emerald spring, in my family's opinion, is the bluest and most transparent pool of all!!!! Two mint color pools are like twins or two eyes of the basin...one geyser erupted and was smaller but bigger and more powerful than old faithful. Stop by!

“One of my favorite stops in the Park”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

We stopped to see this, as it was off the main road. I'm glad we did! Amazing colored pools, hot springs, and lots of thermal activity. I recommend it, as it contains a little bit of everything.
