You really should see it all, but if you want some real variety, this one has so many different kinds of geysers and mudpots. We visited in horrible weather and didn't even care, it was that amazing.

Norris Geyser Basin is very impressive. No huge spouting geysers but just a lot of activity going on. the boardwalks are in pretty good shape and it's a nice way to spend an hour or so. Steamboat Geyser was spewing a lot of steam but didn't seem to want to do another eruption again.

Norris is regarded a back- bencher for many tourists compared to upper, middle and lower basin. After seeing all of them, I must say--- this is the BEST. Take both the trails- back basin and porcelain basin. Altogether, this is an easy 2-3 miles hike. You will see lot of geothermal activities, geyser, nice colors from thermophiles. You will also get a nice view of the valley. Not to be missed !
