“Disneyland for adults”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2011

Yellowstone NP is an awesome, beautiful place. BUT, it is so very crowded that you can't really experience it well during the summer. It's like going to Disneyland. You need to get up early and go to the 2-3 attractions you are really interested in. Otherwise it will be too crowded. Traffic jams on the roads, no parking at the hot speings or geysers. I strongly recommend that you go in the spring or fall, if you can, for best viewing and sight seeing. I also recommend a little reading before you go in order to really appreciate, from a scientific point of view, what you're looking at and experiencing.

“Awesome fun and educational experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2011

We stayed in the park at the Yellowstone Lake Hotel and at Grant Village. The Hotel is stepping back in time to the elegance of the 1920's I loved it. I little pricey but worth the dollars. We also stayed at Grant village in Lodge A very nice location if you are looking for quiet and secluded. The dinning room at Grant village was wonderful. Highly recommend Circle of Fire Tour if you can only do one tour. Not as pricey as some of the others but lots of information and locations including Old Faithful, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and a walk in the thermo fields great except for the smell. Lots of wild life and sights 240 waterfalls, a minimum of four days in the park is needed to enjoy sights. Highly recommend for people of all ages.

“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2011

Great trip, beautiful scenary, lots of hiking, and historical places to stop and see! Lots of driving, and other drivers can be a concern. Yellowstone is not a dog friendly place, dogs are not allowed on any of the boardwalks, or back country hiking spots. Due to wildlife and crowds, it does make sense.

“Snow in Yellowstone on 4th of July”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 29, 2011

Planned trip in April to Yellowstone for 4th of July weekend. There was still a lot of snow up to 3ft off roadways. The Buffalo had not migrated to open plains yet so we saw very little wildlife. Still had plenty to see though.
