“Really beautiful”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

We just returned from Yellowstone and were amazed. The hot springs were stunning, if a little bit smelly. We would go back again in summer when it will no doubt be busier, but accessibility would be better. Go if you have the chance.

“Love the terraces!”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

Just love the terraced formations, and the colorful mineral deposits! Then the area was crawling with elk!

“Mammoth Majesty”
Reviewed February 3, 2014

We visited Mammoth in Sept '13. We were staying in Gardiner, so were only a short distance from the entrance and Mammoth.
What a beautiful place Mammoth - it is awsome!! It was absolutely beautiful and showed nature's magic at it's best.
We also saw a lot of wildlife in the area - a bonus.
I would highly recommend Mammoth to anyone - it was a wonderful day and with the walkways, most of it is is easily accessible to everyone. This did not apply to us but....it is not pet friendly and dogs are not allowed in the veiwing area. So for pet owners, bear this in mind.
I would love to go back one day and see it all again - every season is different to what you see.
A beautiful place and certainly worth a visit.

“Fascinating Ecosystem”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

I could not believe the stark beauty, mineral formations and the bubbling waterfalls. Great walking trails and information about the area. They work hard to ensure your safety in this very thermal area, which is commendable. A must see. It gets very warm in this area.

“Out of this world”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

This large sculpted mass of white limestone is amazing, I've never seen anything like it. It's like you've entered another planet. The walk is really good a lets you explore the whole landscape. There is lot to see so take your time. In some places the boardwalk is a bit steep and there are quite a few stairs
