“Hard to believe this is on our planet.”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

This is a spectacular walk. The walkways are brand new and make seeing the spring really easy. It's easy to think after you've seen all the geysers down by the Yellowstone Inn that you've seen everything, but the Grand Prismatic pool is a whole other experience. Glimmering in all it's luminous, spectrum of color, it's hard to believe you're still standing on the planet earth as you look through the steam into it's rainbow of hues. Don't miss it!

“Winter beauty”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

While winter is not the prime time to view the spring, the beauty of this place is still evident. With the aid of snowshoes, the boardwalks provide glimpses of the pool, and the bacterial mats are as vibrant as ever with surrounding ice and snow adding to their beauty.

“Nothing Compares”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

I have never seen anything comparable. It is simply the most visually stunning natural phenomenon I have ever seen. Most everyone comes to Yellowstone for Old Faithful...but this is an absolute must. Have been to Yellowstone several times in the last decade...this is my favorite stop.

“Yellowstone's best hot spring”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

I only wish I had had more time here. I would have taken the trail behind the spring to get a downward view of it. I've seen pictures and they're fantastic. From the boardwalk you can only appreciate so much of the spring given that you are level with it. If I'm ever in the area again I would come back if only just to get that picture from above.

“Grand Prismatic Spring”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

It's a shame most people who visit Grand Prismatic Spring don't get to see what It actually looks like from the boardwalk. If you don't mind a little hiking and climbing you can get a fablous view of it.
