This was a beautiful place to stay for 3 nights while touring this area. The lobby was large and inviting with a fire roaring in the fireplace and huge windows to look out over to the mountains. Our room was large and tastefully decorated and also had a lovely view of the mountains. Our only complaint was hearing people in the hallway, but that seems to be an issue for many hotels.
We ate breakfast and dinner each day at the hotel and were delighted by the variety of selections. Plenty of free parking, hiking trails and unfortunately, mosquitoes...Alaska's State Bird! Don't let them deter you from sitting out on the huge inviting deck for a drink or a meal. You can't beat the view!More
