The information was great but the presentation was overstimulating since it was basically thrown at you without a clear organization so you don't know where to start and you're left feeling like you missed out on a lot.

“Very nice.”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

A great place for History! Glad for all the women in our country that they have such a place to commemorate the beginnings of Womens Rights! It is small but perfect for it's location in downtown Seneca Falls. You can have a nice meal there in the Village. Check out the many shops and the Art Gallery too.

“Should be better known”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

At some point in her life, every American woman should visit this National Park. It isn't flashy, but the information is presented well and the National Park Rangers are extremely helpful. The exhibits are located primarily on the second floor of the visitors center, with a short film presented in the theatre on the main floor. Plan to spend 60-90 minutes. You'll leave with a much greater appreciation for what it took to make sure all women are able to participate in the democratic processes of this country.

“A must see if you are in the area”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

Sometimes you forget that it wasn't that long ago that women's rights were very limited. This museum tells the story of how a few women changed our country.

Museum was good, some of the exhibits are in need of updating. Saw a few too many out of order signs. The movie also could use updating.

Plan to spend about an hour in the museum and listening to the ranger.

“Reconstructed historic building”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

The main feature is a building where the first women's rights convention was held in the mid 1800s. Most of the building has been rebuilt, and there are no furnishings. There is a good video in the adjacent visitors' center.
