We attended a Paula Cole music concert in April 2013. This hall holds about 300 people. If you get a chance to see an artist you like in this venue DON'T miss it. The small size and fabulous rustic atmosphere creates a very intimate experience. Not a bad seat in the house.

Much smaller than Filene Center, this theater is fully enclosed and heated, and features a distinctive weathered wood structure that feels rustic. The guitar/piano virtuosos Al Di Meola and Cuban Gonzalo Rubalcava performed richly for the crowd, mostly duets but also several solo numbers each. There is a refreshment stand with drinks and snacks in the same building. Free parking and note that this theater is located south of the Dulles Toll Road, not north of it.

Wolf Trap is probably my favorite venue in the DC metro area, but I'm especially fond of the Barns at Wolf Trap. Always top-notch performers in a fairly small and intimate setting. Wine and light fare is served on the premises, and the performers often come to meet with the audience afterward and to sign autographs, etc. The performers' CDs are often on sale in the lobby.

Great place to see concerts-grab a lawn seat, they are much cheaper and you can bring a picnic blanket and a cooler.
