“Great music, diverse options, cool venue”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

This is a really great venue. They have music acts for all tastes - everything from modern bands to oldies-but-goodies to classical to international to folk and everything in between. If you have the chance, it's a very cool venue. Only national park dedicated to performing arts!

“Superb Live Venue and Considerate Management”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

Top-tier acts and much respect from Wolf Trap management, unlike Nissan Pavilion (I'd never go back there) or Merriwether Post, where they outrageously try to squeeze every dime from patrons.

“Holiday Sing-a-Long”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

We had a good time at Wolf Trap's outdoor theater Holiday Sing-a-Long on the first weekend in Advent. The Marine Band played and two soloists sang, along with 400 children from the DC area school choruses and choirs who helped lead the singing of the Christmas carols and Hanukkah songs. Guests were encouraged to bring a bell and a candle--one to play along on Jingle Bells, and the other to join in lighting while singing Silent Night. The Filene Center, an outdoor theater, has a covered seating area as well as lawn seats and holds an audience of 6,800 people, which was filled this evening. It is a free event and no tickets are required, but all were asked to bring a toy to donate to the Toys for Tots. It was a great time, which seems like any concert held her would be.

“Yanni At Wolf Trap”

we bought lawn tickets. At first I was concerned about being able to see the stage. But was able to see perfectly. We got sandwiches and chips from Wegmans. Awesome concert!

“Unbeatable and not to be missed”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

What's not to like? The ONLY national park for the performing arts. Beautifully and expertly maintained. Great venue for outdoor concerts in the summer, and an intimate and folksy Barns venue for the winter. Wonderful surrounding parkland to picnic before the concerts, or even picnic within the venue. Great selection of performances. Plentiful food & drink - lots of bathrooms that seem to do a land office business.
I honestly can't think of a single bad thing to say. The only negative comment I heard from a friend was that he didn't like the birds singing to interrupt the concert.
