We live near Cincinnati, and decided to spend a Saturday night at the Hilton to take in what Cincinnati has to offer. Check in was a breeze, my DH is a HHonors Diamond member. We had booked the Sunday Brunch hotel package which includes a King junior Suite, valet parking and Sunday Brunch at the Orchids in the Palms - not to be missed. The room was on the 16th floor with access to the Belvedere club, which included breakfast, beverages, and dinner appetizers. We did utilize the Club mainly for beverages. The room was nice, 2 bathrooms, sitting area, with a King bed separated by french glass doors.

Couple of complaints:

1 - TVs need to be updated. Little box style TVs made it difficult to enjoy watching TV in bed.
2 - Noise is terrible! We could hear EVERYTHING outside our room! The music playing outside at the Fountain went on well past 11:00pm and the windows were shaking. People intoxicated woke us up at 2:00am and did not go to bed until 4:00am!!
3 - Valet parking - not very organized upon check out, it was a mess.

All in all, it was a nice break for the weekend. The food is wonderful and most likely we will return to the restaurant. I would definately recommend the hotel for business travelers.

Step back in time to the Art Deco grandeur of the 1930s - in downtown Cincinnati! This hotel is part of the Carew Tower complex, which is Cincinnati's version of Rockefeller Center.

The hotel has been renovated recently and the rooms are modern and functional. I was expecting a small room, but was quite surprised at the size. I was on the 22nd floor with a GREAT view of Cincinnati. Everything worked, although the Wi-Fi is $10/day extra. The Orchids at Palm Court Restaurant is worth a walk-through even if you don't eat there - Art Deco splendor at its peak! Wow!!

Downtown Cincinnati is a happening place, and Fountain Square is only a block away. Concerts are nightly and last until 10:00 or 10:30 PM, so if you turn in early, beware. Otherwise, the hotel is pretty quiet.

Be sure to get some Graeter’s ice cream (there is a store at Fountain Sq), and try the local chili too. I would also recommend walking across the Roebling Bridge to KY, a real piece of history. If you like the Cincinnati Reds, you can walk to the stadium from here.

I stayed 4 nights and was sad when my convention ended.

I had read all of the reviews of this hotel and was prepared for the worst, but was pleasantly surprised after spending 3 nights there for a symposium. The place is loaded with history and glitz. Indeed, there is nothing plain about the place. It might have helped that we are Hilton Honors members that our 18th floor corner room was larger and quieter than expected. We were on the side away from the noisy music down in Fountain Square. Some friends staying on the 8th floor across from the music had to tolerate vibrating windows until 11 pm each night. Where you stay in this hotel makes all the difference. Our banquet food was great and the servers were exceptionally well trained and courteous. The other staff were quite helpful as well. Three minor gripes: (1) Old crt tv with very limited number of channels. (2) It was difficult finding the Hilton parking garage at rush hour. We ended up parking elsewhere. (3) On our final day, several huge (1 1/2 - 2") cockroaches crawled across the walls during a workshop presentation on the 4th floor in rooms F&G. We managed to kill one as it scurried across the carpet. Free wi-fi was available only in the lobby.

Room Tip: Reserve a high room away from Fountain Square!

Probably the most impressive hotel I have ever stayed in. The building is an amazing monument to the golden age of US Art Deco and has beautifully restored to its 1930's glory. Worth a visit even iif not staying at the hotel
The staff and service are equally helpful.

I have over 25 hotel rooms for our company event happening in Cincy. The staff was so generous and very helpful every time our group needed something. I'm going back in the end of June and am staying there again!
