We were staying at the hotel and before heading out one evening decided to have a few pre-game drinks. We attempted to order drinks at the bar, but were told to have a seat at one of the tables. The bar tender made 2 of the 3 drinks we ordered (one draft beer, one bottle beer, one mixed drink) - but sent a waiter to our table to obtain a second order for the third drink. At that time we were asked if we wanted to order dinner, we did not as we had other plans. No one, ever again checked on us or offered another round of drinks. When we attempted to pay at the bar, we were told we had to wait for our waiter...who we eventually had to track down on our own.

Overall, not a good experience. We ended up seeking drinks elsewhere our second night at the hotel.

We went for Sunday brunch on a recommendation of a friend, and wow. This would be the most diverse & extensive buffet I have seen. Plenty of staff on hand to clear plates and keep your glasses topped up. There is a non alcoholic option too. Bookings are essential and arrive at opening time of 11.30 so you have chance to try a bit of every dish. The food stations are well laid out with plenty of staff cooking fresh food, to keep the displays replenished. There is food for everyone from crabs & prawns, Asian & traditional roasts, Japanese & salads and a huge dessert range.

the drinks were flowing and the food was delicious. the Bartender had a smile and definitely knew his stuff. A tad pricey but that's what you expect in a hotel bar/restaurant.

While the service was excellent, the food was overpriced and terrible. We ordered the grilled cheese with bacon and chili. The cheese on the sandwich was rubbery, tasteless, and greasy. The bacon was okay but a slice of bacon on half a sandwich with a cup of chili is not worth $10. The chili is beef and tomato based soup. The beef is low grade and greasy as well with bone chunks and grissel. Avoid this place at all costs.

Had some snacks in the bar. Staff was friendly and the food was decent. A good measure of TV's to watch various sporting events
