I grew up in Cincinnati and now live in Chicago. My sister, brother and their families live in Cincinnati and I have a brother who lives in Houston with his 2 children. The Texas group and I decided to stay at the Mariemont Inn. It was homey, comfortable and decorated beautifully for the holidays. The service was terrific and everyone made us feel at home. The Inn is located in a charming village with an ice cream parlor (Greater's, famous in Cincinnati and Opra's favorite) and a movie theater. We had a wonderful Christmas!

While I did believe that the one night was somewhat expensive at over $170 for a room outside of Cincinnati, the rest of the experience, was so good, I guess that I found a bargin.
Staff ? Excellent. Room ? Excellent and fun. Fun ?? I have traveled and spent uncountable nights away from home, but have never seen a TV location as clever as this one. There is a picture over the mantel and when you push a button, the picture disappears and like magic, there is the TV ready for you to use and enjoy. Also I don't want to forget the mattress and pillows. Great nights sleep on a Tempur-pedic mattress with awesome pillows and then a great, fun shower with both a side and overhead shower head. A restful night's stay after a very hard day and I didn't mention the excellent restaurant or the great bar that are inside the hotel. Wonderful place to stay !!!.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I will likely go back if I need to stay in the area.
To me, the most attractive feature of the hotel is its unique and quaint surroundings (shops, good restaurants, and nice neighborhood). However the parking, the pleasant staff, and the quality rooms are all assets to this reasonably priced hotel. The only thing that is missing for me (because I have kids who like to swim) is a pool.

Fabulous visit! So much character in this old Inn, but the accommodations where incredible. Staff was super helpful and don't forget to look for the TV in your room - very clever. There are nice local eateries within walking distance as well - I recommend the Dilly Café.

The historic, residential neighborhood of Mariemont is the setting for this unique inn with a great restaurant in house. With gas fireplaces in every room and deluxe bathrooms, it provides a luxury experience at a great value. Right across the street is a fine art movie house as well as an ice cream parlor. A deli, wine store, coffee shop, and interesting clothing and gift shops all within walking distance allow one to do something while getting some fresh air and taking a break.
