We took a spring break trip with my high school band group to Cincinnati to see the Cincinnati Symphony play, and one of the other attractions we selected was the Haunted Cincinnati Bus Tour. We've done ghost tours in other places before with great success, and this one was no different. In fact, I think this was the best tour we've ever taken.
Our guides were professional and prompt, and you could tell they loved everything about their jobs. I was surprised to learn that, in addition to running the tour, they also ran a paranormal investigation lab in town as well, and they were never shy with information about ghosts and paranormal activity. It was a great learning experience as well as a scary one!
The best part about the tour is the use of actual ghost hunting equipment. We got to handle EMF readers, radiation detectors, direction temperature gauges and even devices to measure polarity shifts in the environment. The explanation in the equipment was thorough and engaging. It really made the experience feel "real" and more than a handful of time we recorded some very odd readings and scored some interesting photos that none of us could explain away.
The only downside to the event was the weather, which was completely out of the guides control. The tour ran from 8:30-11:30 at night, and it was a bit chilly out. Most of our group was bundled up, so it was really a non-issue. Just make sure that if you go in spring or fall, pack a jacket.
I would recommend anyone and everyone for this tour!
