You can always rely on Boca for an imaginative, creative and sometimes surprising meal. Yes, it's pricey but it really is some of the most amazing food and flavor you will ever have in your life! The Chef here has invented some of the more incredible combinations of fresh, delicious ingredients. Last night our large party had a truly splendid experience. A 5 course, wine paired bit of heaven. Great wine list ( of course). Splendid service. Beautiful restaurant - The magically transformed La Maisonette was wonderfully redesigned and even a floor partially removed to open it up.
Tips:
Valet parking right out front.

If you don't have a reservation - arrive early.
If you are sitting there right now and you realized you SHOULD have made a reservation a few weeks ago... Bail out and go to their sister restaurant right next door - SOTTO. A lovely Trattatoria. You'll spend a little less there, Too, but the food is still a great experience.

We have heard many great things about Boca and we were not disappointed. We had the Caramelized Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer. This was a lot better than it sounds. As entrees we had the Seafood Risotto and Beef Wellington. Both were flavorful, but the Seafood Risotto was rather small portion. We had a bottle of VO U V R AY, C. & P. Breton “la dilettante”, Loire ‘12. For dessert we had the Maple Marscapone Cheesecake and Creme Brulee. The service with waiter Barry were great. The restaurant has a nice decor. Overall, we enjoyed every aspect of our meal and plan to return. Definitely one of the better restaurants in Cincinnati.

First time to the new location, and it exceeded my expectations! I love the openness of the place; old spot was tight and if you weren't in the main room you felt like a second class citizen. No chance of that here in the new spacious restaurant. So atmosphere, outstanding. Love the second floor, and the open kitchen and very impressive bar.

Food, as expected, was exceptional. Love the new option of having a "taste" or full size portion, which I took full advantage of! Two great dishes, I had the sausage/pasta and a white fish, both outstanding. Menu seems a bit broader, with more options. But don't fear loyal Boca fans, many of the old favorites have been retained. My wife loves the Brussels Sprouts as well as the roasted Caesar salad. My favorite desert, in any restaurant, anywhere in the world is the cheesecake. It seemed slightly different, but just as good as I remembered.

Service was good, just the right amount of attention, and a waitress who remembered the old Boca, and the importance of reminding the diner that many fav' shave been retained. She recommended a very good French white wine, which we loved.

You know when you go to Boca that you are going to pay more than a lesser restaurant. But I think their new location downtown, and the addition of a number of good restaurants, will keep them a bit more competitive. It still cost about $150 for the two of us, which was a little less than I remember at the old place.

A special occasion place, and my overall favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. If I could only eat at one place, it would be Boca everytime!

Went to dinner here for a large family gathering. The new decor is unique and the large floor to ceiling bar is a central point in the room. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Food is stellar. The braised beef short ribs are fall apart, and the fish dishes are fresh and perfectly cooked. Reasonable prices as well

All that remains structurally are the walls, some banquettes and the chandelier. That was fun to see. The open kitchen is great to watch. We sat at the "family" table, and had a great view of all the action. Every meal was prepared beautifully, served with care, and was delicious. The Brussel Sprouts were surprising! Our waiter carefully asked for any allergies, and relayed them all to the chef who came back with adaptations to dishes or advisements to not order a particular dish. That was all handled with good humor, and consideration. We will return again and again.
