I doubted they could move from the cozy confines of Oakley into the spacious location in Downtown Cincinnati and duplicate the experience, the fear being the quality of the food would tail off. Well we will never know, because they are smarter than me and didnt try to duplicate the reinvented and introduced new items. Same high quality, wonderful food, and a beautiful big city feeling restaurant. Never brussel sprouts remain and the menu is wonderful. We had appetizers, entrees, deserts wine and cocktails at dinner. By comparison to other higher end places, I was pleasantly surprised at the bill as well, certainly less than Rubys or Mortons. I loved it and we will be back again and soon. Can be a romantic night for two, a great place for couples to have dinner together or make a night of it with a large group.

We loved the "old" Boca in Oakley and really looked forward to the "new" one down town. We had a good meal but the atmosphere is definitely different now. It is far more upmarket and "slick"; and less personal. It really feels like a big city restaurant now. Decor is beautiful, modern, and tasteful. I liked the open plan and use of natural materials.

Food was good, but menu surprisingly limited, and without any vegetarian options. A few old favorites from the previous incarnation, such as the clam pasta with rapini, lobster and sweet pea ravioli, and the branzino. Food was very good and well presented. That said, nothing really jumped out as unique in terms of flavor combinations. By the glass wine tasting options are fewer than before; a little disappointing. We liked the fact that the menu could be tailored to tasting portions.

Place was packed, so clearly there is a lot of downtown interest in this venue. That said, I am not sure we will be going back any time soon. The new Boca is definitely catering to a different crowd than before.

We have been to many great restaurants in many cities around the world and Boca can stand next to any of them. The space is beautifully designed with interesting touches including a huge chandelier and one raw brick wall, even the bathrooms are interesting! The service was fast and right yet never obsequious. The food fabulous including the Hamachi Crudo, the salmon and the sea bass. One tip is to sit upstairs if you can. The upstairs is more spacious and you will have more privacy than downstairs. The space between tables is perfect and the the overall vibe is upscale without being stuffy, formal or pretentious: casually elegant and tasteful to sum it up.

Go and experience Boca! They have transformed the old Maisonette into a fabulous contemporary setting and loaded with culinary delights! The bar area is open and lively (also noticed folks eating at the tables placed in the bar area). Our dinner was phenomenal. Our taste buds craved more. What is really cool is there are tasting & full portion options. We opted for appetizers (beet/goat cheese salad & steak Tatar (don't be afraid of it...AWESOME!)), 3 tastings (Lumache con Salsiccia Fresca, Sea Bass, Salmon) & a full beef Wellington portion to share. The wine list is extensive with price points for all budgets. The staff & service was nothing short of superb. We will be back.

This is probably the best restaurant in Cincinnati.
My husband and I went to the new location downtown (we've never been to the other one), and it is beautiful inside, great space and decoration, great service and great food :)
I had the Grilled Romaine, Mediterranean Sea Bass and for dessert the Brioche Bread Pudding. My husband had the Caramelized Brussels Sprouts, Beef Wellington and for dessert the Panna Cotta. Everything was very good, even the fresh baked bread.
Overall was a great experience and money very well spent. This is a top restaurant in Cincinnati, you feel like you're in a big city having a great meal with 5 star service. Very hard to find service and food like this in Cincinnati.
We'll definitely come back again!
