It's hard to imagine a more beautiful setting for an evening of food, wine, and good company. The gazebo is our choice whenever it's warm and sunny, though there is indoor seating with a good view any time the temperature allows (the glassed-in section can get rather toasty on a hot summer evening). The food is not that spectacular, though the pot roast with mashed potato served on Thursdays is mighty tasty. It comes with so-so veggies, a roll, and a build-your-own salad. They throw in a bottle of wine with pot roast dinner for two all for a very reasonable price.
Eight wines made at Vinoklet along with two more imported from the vintner's home country give the diner a wide enough range of choices. The Traminette has won top honors in major competitions, and ranks as my favorite. The view out over the pond, the vinyard, the distant wooded hillside and the far-off Miami River valley are gorgeous, especially as sunset nears.
