Laszlo's is actually in Newtown, on the east side of the Little Miami River, about 20 minutes from downtown Cincy. It may be off the beaten path but it's definitely worth the trip. This is our go-to restaurant for out-of-town visitors because the food is great and there's something for everyone. If you're like me and can't make up your mind, get the combo platter - choice of 1 of 3 schnitzels, a cabbage roll, and goulash with spaetzle (the cabbage roll won "Best of Taste" one year in Cincy's Taste of Cincinnati). On this visit I chose the ala Holstein schnitzel. It's a lot of food, sure, but I can never decide on just one item. Their sauerkraut balls and fried pickles are great appetizers. They also do wonderful potato salad, hot slaw, and cucumber salads. Waitstaff are always attentive and pleasant.
