We went on Saturday night with another couple (4 total). We had a 30 minute wait at 6:30pm, which was not bad. We got seafood nachos as an appetizer, which was good. But there wasn't much seafood in the nachos. I had Island Tacos, which were very good. Another person in our group got a burger, which was acceptable. Unfortunately the glasses for the draft beer were warm (which made the beer cool, not cold) because they couldn't chill the glasses quick enough due to the busy Saturday night traffic. I'd suggest trying on a less busy evening or earlier in the evening. Their seafood dishes are usually good and it is a good place to bring kids.

Nice neighborhood restaurant with lots of choices on the menu. The food was OK - other places are better for shrimp and fried Cod. The Calamari got rave reviews from folks in the party of 4. There was plenty of average food for the price. We will return so I can give the other fish items on the menu a chance to increase the rating. Side items such as the Garlic bread and Caesar salad just did not have much flavor but there are other things to try. The price was what one would expect from a restaurant in a strip mall.

Love, love, love the shrimp and grits and the seafood and grits. Wish they served it more often though. Food has always tasted very good. Specials are different all the time which makes it interesting, in a good way :-).

Went to Pelicans Reef hoping for a good dinner and to see one if our nation's greatest treasures, the right to vote, play out. After checking with other tables in the restaurant, we asked if the election results could be put on one of the several tv's in the restaurant. We were told that " this is a sports bar, we will not turn on the election results". All 4 tables in the restraurant wanted to watch the election (there really are not many sports on, on election night) but the owner told us she didn't care, they are a-political and they will not show any election results. Once again the ownership at this establishment shows that they could care less about what their customers want. This place is like the soup kitchen on Seinfeld.." No Soup, I mean No Fish for You"....Unfortunately this I'd not the first time we have been extremely disappointed with this restaurant. Their food is usually good which is why I have continued to go back even after being treated so poorly by the ownership (the wait staff appologized to us). Not supporting the most important rights in the United States will keep us from ever going back.

Went with a large party on monday night. The appetizers were okay, it seemed the sauteed crab cakes were made with canned meat and not the lump style you normally get. Flavor was good. Lobster fritters had good flavor, but the lobster itself was far and few between.

My stuffed sole was good. I was very dissapointed by the twic baked potato. They used a real potato, but it was filled with instant potatoes. When I pay $17.00 for a meal, I expect REAL potatoes!.(A glass plate would have been nice also)

The Wife had the haddock sandwhich. The portion was small, and with the side salad for $15.00, was excessively priced. Crab legs were of good quality and value, as was the chicken sandwhich.

Nothing special, service was okay. Probably would go to Red Lobster instead.
