“Great Taste of Scotland”

If you want true Scottish flare this is your place. The food is very good and the atmosphere is a total immersion in old Scotland. Great place!

“LOVE THIS PLACE!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013

So, I've never eaten here, though I've always wanted to try the Scottish Egg. My wife and I do, however, come here when celebrating our anniversary for a swanky glass of Scotch.
Now, I know very little about Scotch (aside from the fact that I like it), so when I visit, I have to ask for help. The bartenders are very gracious and happy to be of service. If you suffer from the same ignorance, just tell them about the flavors that you want to taste and how much you want to spend. They usually have a cask pump ale on tap as well. Try one.
The "old Scottish" atmosphere at Nicholson's is second to none. Expect to get sucked in and never want to leave.

“Great Atmosphere...a place to stop!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

The dark wood, glass and mirrors make this restaurant warm and welcoming. Come have a drink or a meal. The fish and chips (which come in two sized portions - small and large) was well presented and tasted great! Their fries are cooked in duck fat (a rarity.) This restaurant is within walking distance to downtown hotels. Our server was very friendly and informative. He was willing to take the extra time to make you feel welcomed.

This place is fantastic and I would definitely come back when visiting Cincinnati. The flat iron steak was excellent and the service was top-notch. Our waitress, Robyn was not only competent but very knowledgeble. This was a very enjoayble experience.

“Very Nice”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013

A great atmosphere with a high energy staff all donned in kilts. The food was great and we really enjoyed the appetizer of bier cheese dip served with home made pretzels and chips. We were there prior to the Jerry Seinfeld performance and the place was packed. Our waiter did a great job taking care of us, his other tables and still being friendly and helpful.
