I don't care enough to get very purple with my review of a mall, so here we go:
- Outside of the Christmas season, parking is not a problem. You might have to walk a little bit to get into the mall. Oh nooooooooo-
- The variety in stores has improved as time has gone on. While most everything in the Kenwood Mall I would never shop at, it does seem suited to the multitude of people in this region with expendable income.
- The food court has what you'd expect, plus a Chipotle. Not a bad addition.
- The appearance and upkeep of the building have definitely improved over time (Kenwood Towne Place, the blighted half-constructed eyesore sharing the parking lot, is not owned or operated by the same people as Kenwood Towne Centre and therefore has no impact upon this review)
I'm docking a point for 1) a higher level of focus on costly, premium retailers 2) mostly bad food court options, and 3) making it completely impossible to drive anywhere in Kenwood during the last few weeks leading up to Christmas.
Some room to improve, but overall solid.
