Our group of 8 had a wonderful experience at the Rookwood. Food was fun and delicious. Great variety from Fried Bacon, Pork Belly Sandwich, to Pasta of the Day. Even better was the service we received sitting in a kiln. Special place.

I went especially to try the hamburgers and I was not disappointed
I tried the fried fish mmm
Check it out online, you will learn more about the restaurant.

My wife took a soup, and ask for a basket of bread (she had to pay extra for that :o() )

Will certainly come back.

Love their appetizers. Deep fried bacon is to die for! Desserts are also a must have such as the krispy kreme donut bread pudding. The ice cream is always a hit too. Love the atmosphere and location as well. Love bringing friends and family from out of town to this place. We always have great service here as well.Try the fig burger. It's also excellenct.

Came here on a quiet Tuesday evening. The staff was very friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about their menu and bar selections. Every aspect of the meal was wonderful; tasty appetizers (love the olives!), delicious salads and expertly prepared sandwiches. The icing on top is an opportunity to have your meal in one of the old pottery kilns! It makes for a very intimate evening for your dinner party. It forget that your not the only people there.

I've gone to The Rookwood now and then over the past 30 years. It has always been inconsistent. The last visit there has convinced me it is on the way back up. It is a unique building. A nice place in Mt Adams that also has its own parking. Food was fresh with generous portions. Service was good. Will definitely go back more frequently.
