Totally renovated park with a really nice parking garage underneath. The summer brought artists and musicians as well as the fountain water jets for the kids. Plenty to do. Depending on the day of the week, there are food and craft vendors there. A safe and fun park!

As a native Cincinnatian, it is nice to see a living, vibrancy to this area of downtown Cincinnati. They water features, dog parks, and open air cultural events are fantastic.

We are not frequent visitors to Over-the-Rhine but we attended a festival there in the summer and were amazed at the way Washington Park turned out. It's an urban park, but has a comfortable homey feel to it as well. Convenient parking garage, restroom facilities, concessions for sale -- a great new addition to town!

Washington Park is one of Cincinnati's newest parks, having been reopened in 2012 after an extensive renovation and expansion. With facilities from a children's play area, to a dog park, event green, and multiple presentation stages, there is always something going on in this park. Located in the middle of the city's historic Over the Rhine neighborhood, the area is experiencing a renaissance that includes many great new dining options, Cincinnati Music Hall, and scores of renovated Italianate homes from the 19th century. There is a New York vibe in this area, not to long ago neglected and run down. Check the park's website to see what may be going on. Throughout warmer months there are scores of free concerts, markets, food trucks, concerts, movies and even yoga and aerobics offered in the park.

Park is very peaceful and calm - area around is not to be wandered around if alone or getting dark tho!
Some fountain lights need replacing to keep the place as good - appears to have a lot of events held here.
Must see if in Cincinnati - close to Music Hall etc
